Spread Hope Like Fire

OUR FIRST YEAR || 2017

Our team and our community learned many important lessons in our inaugural year of business. The value of discipline with smart consideration to strategy in a rapidly changing landscape. The value of staying close to our mission by aligning with agencies and organizations whose primary purpose was to serve those facing addiction. The value of giving power to the voice of persons affected by addiction as well as the person in recovery. The unquantifiable value in peace of mind scalable business systems create and understanding the need for process before growth. The value of placing people first but never compromising our own strengths.

We worked hard proving that heart first, person first approaches create sustainable impact and financial gain. With those gains, our social impact business employed four people in recovery in it's first year, two full-time. We are our extremely proud of what our team has done together and with your support. We are excited to be story-tellers of Spread Hope Like Fire's impact in our first year and thank each and every person who made it possible.

Strategically speaking, we've shifted our focus in 2018 away from serving the missions of our partnering organizations and towards partnerships which will propel forward a shared vision of their team and ours at Spread Hope Like Fire. We look forward to telling more of this story throughout 2018!

A Note From Our FOUNDER + DIRECTOR

Kimber Falkinburg

We can and will change the way people with addiction are treated in America. There will be no more stigma. We will offer compassionate care. Our healthcare systems will see the human face we put in front of them as a person suffering from a chronic illness and communities will reach out their hearts in healing love. The death toll of more than 80,000 people per year will begin to reduce. We are full of hope and we will spread it like wildfire for all to see. We are people in recovery; but, we are so much more than those words you hear. We are business owners, nurses, mothers, doctors, daughters, and are standing together to ignite the spark of recovery across the world. Will you join me?
